reTyre In The Media
reTyre’s concept is simple – everyday we wear different shoes based on where we go, so why do everyday bikes get tires that almost never change until worn out? The issue is the hassle, so their zip-on reTyre system makes it fast & easy to zip the perfect tread onto the bike for every ride – no need to even take the wheel off the bike.
Bike Rumor
Overnight blizzard? Zip on studs. Going from suburbs to single-track? Zip on your trail treads. The reTyre presents one of the craziest bike tire designs we’ve seen in a while.
Gear Junkie
Featuring 156 carbide studs per skin, it allows commuters to quickly make their tires ice-ready whenever the weather dictates, but then switch back to the smoother – running base tires when the ice melts.
New Atlas
Now I’m very confident of those tyres, they sit really well. I am impressed! It won’t be bad to cycle through this winter. It will be fun!

What People Say
reTyre is a perfect solution on gravel roads as well as on single tracks. I rode on Gravel Chaser for 2900 km on a humanitarian road-tour to raise money for handicapped and elders in ZIM. The tour start was in Harare, going up to Cahora Bassa, heading to Tete, along the Lake Malawi, up to the Kitulo Plateau, to Dodoma, Arusha and finished at Moshi. Zero punctures over the whole distance, while still having a very good grip on all types of gravel roads. Riding on tared roads was fine as well. reTyre is truly a very reliable solution!

I just wanted to say a Huge Thank You to you all for the help and support in managing the delivery of my products. I know my experience wasn’t as simple as you had planned but your customer services and how you all dealt with this situation must be commended.
The additional gift that was included in my delivery has now become part of daily commute on these cold winter days.

After a bad experience where a shop sold me the old model, I was upgraded by reTyre team to latest model with zipper integrated into tyre. Now it works perfectly, I can recommend this product.

So easy and fast to get tires on bike ready to go when weather changes during the night. Especially when weather cannot decide what to do, and give us spring, frost, summer (kind of), autumn and again frost/winter during two weeks….
Zip on…zip off…zip on…zip off ????????

I’m really happy to use reTyre on my bike ????

The idea is clear and obvious – you don’t need two bikes for on and off-road riding, just zip on some off-road tyres and a road riding bike becomes off-road capable. reTyre is suitable for those who, for example use an e-bike for regular road riding and go for occasional leisure trail rides they look well-suited and quite practical.

The new reTyre with the base tyre is working very well. I mostly ride mountain bikes and never considered myself the kind of rider who would get a tyre with zippers. But after putting these on my commuter last fall, they have stayed on. The base tyre is nice and smooth rolling, and especially in early and late winter it’s nice to be able to easily switch between studs and no studs.

A little stumbling with the first skin, but now I’ve found the technique and was ready for my first ride with studs, first time ever in my 47 years! reTyre gives me the security I didn’t know I was looking for in winter cycling. I now feel safe in the different weather we have in Norway, and even through heavy snowfall and minuses, I haven’t regretted my tyre-choice for a second!

You use a smooth rolling base tyre without outer zippable “skins”, one for off-road and another with studs for winter weather. Good puncture resistance, and completely bombproof with two layers. We get plenty of snow here in the mountains so the winter skins will come in handy.

As an enduro rider who lives and breathes for the descents, I’m impressed with how well the reTyre One system holds up to abuse. I simply have not been able to fault the tires yet, and that’s not for a lack of trying.

Our customers like the innovative solution from ReTyre. It makes it very easy to change to winter tires or trail tires, especially for those riding our e-bikes with rear hub motor.
